Bekka Valley-Abide

November 02, 2017

Bekka Valley, Lebanon

Syrian refugees are in a constant state of displacement. Abiding time; without the proper documentation to work or attend school, they are suspended in a place between hope and despair. Prisoners in their homeland due to war and an uncertain future, they escape for a chance at a better life. The camps that provided a home for many have become a prison, a place to abide time. Safe from the constant threat of death they now face an uncertain future with the hope for a better life and the ability to return home.
